The 40-metre KONTIKI yacht is a luxurious and serene base for an adventurous charter on the Pacific coast of Ecuador.
The first - and only - luxury superyacht based on Ecuador’s coast is run by an experienced local crew and presents the opportunity to enjoy a sea expedition with a difference.
You can fill the days during your KONTIKI yacht charter with cultural immersions and guided excursions that offer unrivalled access to the natural treasures and heritage of this part of South America. You can explore the Pacoche Reserve and visit its howler monkeys or head to the Buenaventura Natural Reserve to observe exotic birds and flowers. Experience an ancestral purification ritual designed to connect our souls with nature, fish and forage for your supper, or witness the traditions of local communities who weave Ecuadorian Toquilla straw hats and dance to the beat of coastal drums.
After adventure-filled days, you can return to the KONTIKI yacht and relax in her calming neo-luxury-style lounges and cabins, where natural woods and woven textiles complement a beautiful aesthetic that blends in with the views through the windows.
Up to 18 guests can be accommodated during a KONTIKI yacht charter. She features nine cabins, eight of which are convertible and four are interconnected, making them suitable for families travelling together.
There are a number of facilities on the KONTIKI yacht with a particular focus on wellness. There’s a spa, with a massage room and gym, to help you maintain your wellbeing. Up on the sun deck, there’s a large, raised Jacuzzi where you can soak your tired muscles as you absorb the panoramic views. You’ll also find plenty of loungers and sun pads if you want to soak up the sunshine, plus a sit-up bar and plenty of seating to enjoy sundowners.
The experienced and local crew of 13, which includes a guide, works with native communities to make sure its approach is in line with their economic development. This will ensure your KONTIKI yacht charter offers the most authentic and sustainable experience possible.

She carries plenty of water toys for guests’ enjoyment, including two tenders, diving equipment, kayaks, Seabobs, paddleboards, an ocean pool, a water slide and a NautiBuoy Marine platform.
There are also two AB tenders available to transfer you ashore for excursions or offer sea safaris and beyond.
